Corey Cleary Stoner (Posner) is tremendously grateful to have started his Uptown Players debut with such an enriching and embracing band of professionals. He was last seen in Collin College’s production of Big River as the boisterous Duke. He has also been in Big Love as Nikos, Blithe Spirit as Madame Arcati, and in Lil’ Abner as Pappy Yokum. These are just a few favorite roles among the many throughout his four years at Quad C. Beginning last year, Corey has actively been a part of Theatre Britain's children’s production of Peacemaker, as well as The Exits improv troupe and he is representated by the Thomas Agency. “Thank you my friends for filling the stage with ageless aptitude, and for the fostering guidance of genius. We are no longer in the subjunctive.” |

Bradley Campbell (Hector) is thrilled to be making his Uptown debut in The History Boys. He most recently appeared on stage at Theatre Three in ILYYPNC (Man # 2), and The Light in the Piazza (Signor Naccarelli); and at Lyric Stage in Hello, Dolly! (Horace Vandergelder). He has performed roles ranging from Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman (Classical Acting Company) to Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof (FMPAT). He is a five time Leon Rabin Award nominee and won the 2005 award for Best Actor in a Play. Bradley is a Dallas native, an alumnus of Texas Tech and an MFA graduate of Rutgers University. This summer, Bradley will be appearing with Shakespeare Dallas as Sir John Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor. |

Rick Espaillat (Headmaster) is happy to return to Uptown Players, where he previously appeared in Southern Baptist Sissies and The Life. Other recent favorite roles include Bruce in Theatre Three’s production of Popcorn, Eddie Grant in Look What’s Happened to Pixie DeCosta at Theatre Too, and Roy Cohn in Angels in America for Risk Theatre. He can be seen on television in commercials for Hasbro and AT&T, and this spring he can be seen in the HBO film Temple Grandin: Thinking in Pictures with Clare Danes. Thanks go to Craig and Jeff for the opportunity, to Bruce for his trust, and most of all to Gary for every takeoff and landing. |

Alan Jackson (Crowther) would like to thank his ever supporting and loving mother. Alan is a recent graduate from KD Studio Actors Conservatory. Past shows include Boys Next Door, Seussical, and Ten Little Indians. He has been theatrically trained at LCC's theater program for 2 years prior to attending KD Studio Actors Conservatory. (Timms) is thrilled to be making his Uptown Players debut. He was recently seen onstage as Theo in [sic] directed by Jocelyn Wiebe for the Out of the Loop Festival. Other Regional credits include Shakespeare Dallas (Paris), Chicago Shakespeare (Lucentio), Steppenwolf (appearing with John Malkovich), Timeline Theatre Co., and the title role in Hamlet produced by Stranded Lot and Red Tape Theatre. He has an MFA from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and a BA from Texas A&M. “Thank you to Leslie for putting up with my long hours and loving me the way you do. (Irwin) is honored to return to Uptown Players and to work again with Bruce, Craig and Jeff. The History Boys marks David’s sixth time here, including last year’s Bent for which he recently received a Column Award nomination for Best Actor in a Play. David is a three-time Leon Rabin Award nominee, winning in 2002 for Best Supporting Actor in a Play for Kitchen Dog Theater’s Some Explicit Polaroid, which also earned a Dallas-Fort Worth Critics Forum award for Outstanding Ensemble. Favorite area roles include Cletis in Lone Star, Paul in A Chorus Line, and Joe in Angels in America. |

(Scripps) is thrilled to be making his Dallas theater debut at Uptown Players. Alex is a recent graduate of Oklahoma City University where he received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. He was last seen singing with Kelli O'Hara at the "From Broadway to Bricktown" concert in Oklahoma City where he was a featured soloist. Alex would like to thank his wonderful family and friends for all their love and support, and Uptown Players for giving him this invaluable opportunity to be a part of this incredible show. |

Aaron Sanchez (Akthar) is appearing in his first show with Uptown and is extremely excited to be a part of this cast. His previous credits at Richland College include mostly Shakespeare; not because he only likes Shakespeare but because that just seems to be the way things work out. Brett Thiele Thiele (Dakin) is thrilled to be joining the cast of The History Boys for his first performance with Uptown Players. He has been seen on stage around Dallas, recently in WaterTower Theatre's productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (protean), and Oklahoma! (Slim). He has also been seen on stage in J.J. Pearce High School's productions of Footloose (Ren), Love, Lies, And the I.R.S (Leslie), Scooter Thomas makes it to the Top of the World! (Scooter), Peter Pan (peter), Miss Saigon (Cpt. Shultz), and Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere). Brett would like to thank his parents for their constant love and support |

Wendy Welch (Mrs Lintott) is more than thrilled to be working on the Uptown stage for the first time, with an amazing cast of gentlemen, and her dear friend, Bruce. Her last time on this stage was in the title role in TFM Productions' Victor/Victoria. Wendy has worked on Dallas/Ft. Worth stages for more years than she can believe. Select favorite roles include Margaret Johnson in Light in the Piazza (Column Award); Ruth Stopnik in Caroline, or Change (Column Award); Meg Boyd in Damn Yankees; Wendy in Elegies; Actress 2 in Dining Room (Leon Rabin Award); Sally Durant Plummer in Follies; Mother in Human Comedy; and Mrs. Jackson in Talking Pictures. Wendy has appeared in commercials and videos for years. She is on faculty at Richland College and is celebrating 29 years with Actors Equity. Andrew Worley Lockwood) is very excited to be making his second appearance at Uptown Players and would like to thank Bruce for this opportunity. He was last seen in a brief role in last year's Column award winning show Bent, also directed by Bruce. Andrew graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in Theatre Performance in May 2006. He has since been in ICT's Mainstage production of Dracula and a world premiere musical Traum Novela at the Dallas Hub theatre and several commercials and films in the area. He even worked on Fox's Prison Break. Andrew is associate producer for the new theatre group Heavenly Muse Players in association with Totally Wow Productions. He is represented by Core Talent. "I would like to dedicate my performance in this show to all those teachers who allowed me to fail and make mistakes so that I could get back up and who encouraged me to do what I love doing. I would also like to thank my mom and dad for their endless support and my beautiful girlfriend for putting up with me." |
